A legal signature, on a token
A Class 3 digital signature is your legal signature for MCA, GST, income tax and tender filings. It lives on a compliant USB token rather than as a file, because the token is what stops the private key being copied off a laptop.
Treat it the way you treat a signature. Anything filed with it is filed by you, and directors who leave the token with an accountant have no answer when a form they never saw carries their name.
Best suited to
- Directors signing MCA filings
- Authorised signatories filing GST returns
- Businesses bidding on government e-tender portals
- Anyone whose existing certificate is about to expire
Documents you need
- PAN of the applicant
- Aadhaar or another accepted identity proof
- Recent photograph
- Email address and mobile number for the verification codes
- Passport with attestation for a foreign national applicant
Scanned copies are enough to begin. We check every document against the department's current format before filing, because a rejected form costs more time than a resubmitted scan.

Signing only or signing with encryption, and one, two or three years of validity. Encryption is only needed for tender portals.
Application and verification
The application goes to a licensed certifying authority, with mobile and email codes plus a short video verification.
Token issue
The certificate is downloaded onto a compliant USB token, which is what makes it legally usable.
Registration on the portals
We register the certificate against your DIN or GSTIN so it works the first time you try to file.

Digital signature questions
Which class of certificate do I need?
Class 3 covers everything ordinary businesses file: MCA forms, GST returns, income tax filings, trademark applications and e-tender portals. The older Class 2 certificates were discontinued.
Do I need the token, or can it stay on my computer?
It has to live on a compliant USB token. Certificates are no longer issued as plain files, because the token is what stops the key being copied.
How long is it valid?
One, two or three years, chosen at application. Three years costs less per year, and it removes the annual scramble when a filing deadline lands on an expired certificate.
Can somebody else use my digital signature?
No. It is a legal signature in your name and using it means signing as you. Handing the token around is how directors end up personally answerable for filings they never saw.
