Privacy policy
Filing work runs on identity documents. This page sets out exactly what we take, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.

This policy explains how MR Filings handles personal data. It covers this website and the filing work we carry out for clients. We are the data fiduciary for the information described here, which means we decide why and how it is processed and we are answerable for it.
What we collect
We collect three kinds of information, and we collect the third only once you engage us for a filing.
| Category | What it includes | When we get it |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry details | Name, mobile number, email address, business name, and the filing you selected | When you submit a form on this site or contact us |
| Business details | Proposed or existing business name, structure, state, turnover band, and the questions you ask us | During the consultation call |
| Filing documents | PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof, premises proof, bank statements, financial statements, and any document a department requires for your filing | After you engage us, and only for the filing you engaged us for |
This website runs no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you across other websites, and we do not run advertising pixels.
When you submit a form on this site, the details go directly to our customer relationship management system, which is Zoho CRM, operated by Zoho Corporation. Zoho processes that enquiry on our instructions so that we can respond to you. It is not used by Zoho for its own marketing, and it is not passed on to anyone else.
Why we hold it
- To answer your enquiry and give you a quote, which is the purpose you gave the information for
- To prepare, sign and submit the filing you engaged us to make
- To answer questions, objections and notices raised by a department about that filing
- To meet our own legal obligations, including tax records and professional record keeping
- To contact you about due dates and pending work on filings we handle for you
We do not use your documents for anything else. We do not sell personal data, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Who we share it with
- The government body your filing goes to, which may be the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the Goods and Services Tax Network, the Income Tax Department, the Trade Marks Registry, FSSAI, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade or the Udyam portal, depending on the service
- Certifying authorities that issue digital signature certificates, where your filing needs one
- The chartered accountants and professionals working on your file
- Zoho Corporation, whose customer relationship management system holds the enquiry you submit through this site so that we can respond to it and keep a record of the conversation
- Payment processors, which receive the transaction details needed to collect a fee and never receive your filing documents
- A court, regulator or law enforcement agency where we are legally required to produce records
How long we keep it
Filing records are kept for as long as the relevant law requires them to be produceable, which for most company and tax records runs to eight years from the end of the financial year concerned. Enquiry details from people who never became clients are deleted from our customer relationship management system within twelve months. You can ask us to erase data earlier where no legal obligation requires us to hold it.
How it is protected
- Documents are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems
- Access is limited to the people working on your file
- Filings are made under our professional login rather than by handing your portal credentials around
- We ask you not to send documents over unencrypted channels when a secure upload is available
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed, ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data, ask us to erase data we no longer need, nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated, and withdraw a consent you previously gave.
Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already carried out, and where a filing has already been submitted to a department we cannot withdraw it from that department's records.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookies needed to serve the pages and remember your session. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. If that ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
Children
Our services are for businesses and the people who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen, and we do not direct any part of this site at children.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date shown at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects how we handle data you have already given us, we tell you directly.
Grievances
Complaints about how we have handled your personal data go to our Grievance Officer. Write to hello@mrfilings.in or call +91 63033 55851. Post reaches us at 22-1-3 Rajapangal Road, 7th Line, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh 523001. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
Something here unclear
Ask before you engage us rather than after. A chartered accountant will answer, not a script.
